Why schedule an ultrasound at Sound Mind Imaging Studio?
Sound Mind is owned and operated by a registered OB/GYN sonographer and labor and delivery registered nurse. It is a cozy, grounded, relaxing space for families to truly bond with their baby. There is comfortable seating and two large screens for viewing to make this a memorable and special time.

Does this ultrasound replace any ultrasounds performed by my OB provider?
​
No, every ultrasound preformed at Sound Mind Imaging Studio is not intended to diagnose, treat, or monitor any medical conditions of your baby. It is not a substitute for routine prenatal care. Women must be currently under the care of a midwife or physician.

Will this ultrasound be covered under insurance?
​
All ultrasounds are self-pay and are not covered by insurance. Cash, credit cards, and Venmo are accepted. Client must agree to pay in full at the time of service.

Do I need an appointment?
​
In order for each client to receive the best experience, an appointment is required. Please check for the package that best suits your needs and click the "book now" button.

Can I bring Guests?
​
Please feel free to bring guests that do not want to miss the opportunity to see your baby! We have enough seating for 8 people.

Can I anticipate a good view of my baby on ultrasound?
​
The quality of images obtained is dependent on many factors including fetal position, gestational age of the baby, amount of amniotic fluid, and maternal body type. Sound Mind Imaging Studio does not guarantee specific images but we try our best to obtain the best pictures of your baby. For 3D/4D imaging, if optimal images are unobtainable, the client may be offered one complimentary re-scan at the discretion of the sonographer.

Meet Kaycee
Sound Mind Imaging Studio is owned and operated by Kaycee Duke. Kaycee is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with over 15 years of experience in OB/GYN ultrasound. Some of that time was spent in high-risk maternal fetal medicine. She also works as a Labor and Delivery RN at the local hospital. As a mom of two precious girls, Kaycee knows how special it is to see and bond with your baby on ultrasound, which provides reassurance and a sound mind. She is passionate about women's health and prenatal care and aims to give you a wonderful experience at Sound Mind Imaging Studio.
